Latest Processor Technology and Powerful Software Mean Fast, Professional Graphics on New-Generation PMIvisu Terminals from Pilz
(CANTON, MI) -- PMIvisu operator terminals represent a new generation of the Pilz Machine Interface (PMI). The very latest processor technology and high performance with the least-possible dissipation make rapid, detailed diagnostics a reality, even on complex applications. Units are configured and operated using powerful PMI-PRO graphics software for professional, user-friendly graphics on the PMIvisu.
One of the characteristics of the hardware on the PMI-range is that the CPU board was developed completely in-house. Pilz even succeeded in integrating the operating system Windows CE.NET. Subsequent changes to the overall system are therefore made quickly and economically.
For greater flexibility when designing the project, a 15" display diagonal is now also available, alongside the 5.7", 10", and 12" versions. All units are presented in the new design.
The PMI systems are designed to be ventilation-free and heat-stable, guaranteeing a long service life. Units have all common interfaces for communication purposes. The fieldbus connection can be made via the internal interface, involving very little installation work. Thanks to a wide range of drivers for PLC connection and online language switching, PMI-PRO graphics software can be used worldwide in a variety of applications.
Pilz has created an extensive diagnostic application based on PMI-PRO, specifically for diagnostics on PSS programmable safety systems. Pre-defined plain text messages and graphical overviews help to simplify diagnostics and reduce downtimes.
