The Premium Protection of Premium Panel
Springfield, OH, March, 2003- Rittal Corporation recently introduced Premium Panel, a stainless steel operator interface enclosure designed specifically for applications where high pressure wash downs are required. This product provides a level of protection that no other operator interface enclosure can offer.
The Premium Panel offers an IP69K rating. This rating provides protection against the ingress of dust and against high pressured/jet steam cleaning. Unlike a NEMA Type 4X test, the IP69K test was designed specifically for rating protection against a high pressure jet stream (1160 to 1450 psi), high liquid temperature (176ºF) and closer nozzle distances (3.9" to 5.9") from the enclosure surface. Industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and off-shore petro/chemical demand the utmost hygiene protection and protection from harsh environments. These industries also require higher wash down pressures and temperatures in conjunction with solvent based cleaning solutions. Premium Panel is an ideal off the shelf solution for these types of applications.

The operator interface enclosure is available in a depth of 4.72" or 8.66". For the operator and keyboard combination, the keyboard housing is 2.46" deep. Both Premium Panel versions have been designed to attach directly to Rittal's stainless steel CP pendant arm system.
