Openwave to Showcase Adaptive Mobility at CTIA Wireless


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 26 - Openwave Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:OPWV), the leading provider of open software products and services for the communications industry, today announced that the Company will showcase the Openwave® Adaptive Mobility suite of content, communications and context solutions at CTIA Wireless 2007 (Booth 1933, Hall 3-4) in Orlando, Fl on March 27-29.

Openwave executives will participate in panel discussions at this year's conference to discuss key industry trends and the role of software and services in driving innovation and personalization.

o Michael Luna, chief technology officer, will speak on a panel entitled, "Wireless Web: Version 2.0?" on Tuesday, March 27 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. PT in Room 307.

o Guillaume Decugis, vice president of Musiwave, an Openwave company, will participate on a panel entitled, "Music via the Device: What Technology is now Enabling!" on Tuesday, March 27 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. PT in Room 309.

Openwave's Adaptive Mobility suite of solutions will be available for demonstration in the Openwave Booth (#1933, Hall 3-4), and will feature:

o Adaptive Communications services that bridge broadband and mobile networks, including the Openwave Converged Communications Solution (CCS) which integrates data and voice for a complete and conversational communications experience and Openwave Rich Mail, a new AJAX-based Web mail solution that increases the value of messaging services.

o Mobile music services, including Musiwave Smart Radio, which allows consumers to access customized mobile streaming music programming; a music discovery engine; a dynamic content store that features one-click access to all the content available for a given artist; a new music player which features a full track mobile music subscription service accessible via mobile handset and PC; and the Musiwave Music on Demand Service (MODS(TM)) which allows fast, full-length secure downloads of music directly to 3G mobile devices.
