Ambedded Technology Launch ARM-Based Open Frame Human Machine Interface

In the past, most embedded applications were using industrial computers (IPC) or single board computers (SBC) as the hardware platform. This is mainly due to the easy to get resource from operating systems and software engineers. But, more and more solutions from ARM based platform and development environment has broken the x86 advantage.

However, with the escalation of hardware technology, ARM-based SoC can easily adopt the original IPC SBC applications. Thanks to the new IC integrating technologies, the major hardware components of x86 platform are shrimped to a single chip ARM based SoC. This provides the much higher cost performance ratio of embedded system.Â Embedded systems are majorly used in industrial applications in the past decades. With the low cost advantage and performance improvement, the ARM based platform now gradually turned to life and general commercial use.
