MIAMI - Onteco Corporation (OTC: "ONTC"), (the "Company" or "Onteco"), announced today that its subsidiary, NexPhase Lighting, Inc. ("NexPhase"), a designer, developer and manufacturer of high efficiency, high quality LED intelligent lighting fixtures, has submitted its COV20BMB41, linear LED fixture, "Luminaire," to the CSA for LM79 Testing. LM Testing is a requirement for purchasers receiving utility rebates.
Jon Cooper, President of NexPhase, stated, "We have submitted our 4-foot liner LED fixture (COV20BMB41) to the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) for LM 79 testing which we expect they will complete within 3 weeks. Our Luminaire produces 2400 lumens at 24 watts at constant current, and is producing 3 times the lumen output of competing product at similar wattages. It also easily accepts motion and daylight controls. In addition, the fixture is designed with easy to adjust field mounting to optimize lighting in a variety of applications. Our fixture utilizes a single driver to power up to 16 feet of linear lighting. Additionally, an emergency lighting feature is available for it as well.
