OnSSI Teams with Software House® to Develop Single Source Control of Integrated Security Systems

Pearl River, NY (July 13, 2009) - On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc. (OnSSI) has collaborated with Software House®, a Tyco International company, to integrate the capabilities of OnSSI's Ocularis video-centric PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) platform with the Software House C.CURE® 9000 security and event management system. The integration of these two technologies provides customers with a single, robust interface for securing their enterprise.

The C.CURE 9000 and Ocularis integration merges the management functions of access control and video surveillance. At the heart of the new solution is the capability for customers to view, search, and play back video directly from the C.CURE 9000 monitoring station. The collaborative interface incorporates some of Ocularis' unique features, such as its virtual joystick, as well as the capability to create events and alarms based on status received from the video server and cameras, to trigger pre-programmed camera activity.
The combination of the two security applications, with a rich centralized management control platform, will enable enterprises to reduce the escalating costs of managing two separate yet related systems, in addition to providing the framework for improved security.

OnSSI's Ocularis IP Video Management solution is an open-architecture, non-proprietary, video-centric software platform that allows viewing, management and recording of video from an unlimited number of IP and non-IP video surveillance cameras. Ocularis also allows for video storage management and can correlate and fuse video and non-video events and alerts resulting in automatic video delivery to subscribers of interest.
C.CURE 9000 security and event management system utilizes IT- standard tools and innovative distributed architecture. It offers advanced integration capabilities, advanced alarm routing and remote access for system administration and monitoring via a light client. Leveraging Microsoft's® sophisticated .NET® 3.5 technology, C.CURE 9000 provides native encryption and XML data transfer, making it one of the fastest, most secure systems in the industry.
