Sola/Hevi-Duty introduces the S4K Industrial Online UPS



SKOKIE, IL, November 1, 2002 - Sola/Hevi-Duty is pleased to introduce its next generation 4K UPS -- the new S4K, an Industrial Online UPS that can be mounted directly into a standard 19-inch rack, taking only 2U (3.5 inches) of precious rack height. It can also be floor mounted for stand-alone applications.

The standard input plug and 120V output receptacles are easily removed, converting the unit into a fully hardwired UPS. External matching battery cabinets install effortlessly by simply plugging in. Stringing the batteries together allows for runtimes of up to two hours or more. The two-step battery charger extends battery life, while the automatic or the manual battery test feature warns when the hot swappable user replaceable batteries need to be changed.
