On-line Measurement of Product Properties and Suspended Solids - Measurement of the Product Separation

The measurement of solid concentrations or the monitoring of given limit values for liquid products with ultrasonic can be used everywhere, where no product contact is desired. The 0n-line measurement by the wall takes place in commercial Varivent and/or Varinline housings. The ultrasonic signals received sent by the sensor and form the measuring section between the sensor and the tube sheet lying opposite. By the solid concentration or by the product specific transmission characteristic adjusting signal absorption is a criterion for choice. Further different sound speeds in the measuring medium can be evaluated. The tubing nominal sizes can amount to for instance DN 25 to DN 125 off. At the transducer the limit value is freely adjustable. Beside the programming over the input keyboard, the programming is possible over R-S 485 interface.
