Kent, Washington - MAXIEM Waterjets®, a division of OMAX® Corporation, will be showcasing the highly productive cutting capabilities of the MAXIEM 1530 JetCutting Center at HOUSTEX 2011. The company's booth, #1820, will feature a variety of cutting demonstrations on the industry standard abrasive waterjet machining center. HOUSTEX 2011 will take place on April 18 - 20 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
The MAXIEM 1530 JetCutting Center integrates proven technologies in a cost-efficient package to provide users with an affordable, highly productive cutting solution. The MAXIEM 1530 will be featured with a 30 hp high-pressure direct drive 50,000 psi pump, and Intelli-MAX® Software, a control containing the core functionality of OMAX's critically acclaimed software. With an X-Y cutting travel of 122 inches x 62 inches (3,100 mm x 1,575 mm) and a maximum table load of 250 lbs/sq ft (1,221 kg/square meter), the machine productively cuts an extremely wide variety of materials, including stone, tile and granite.
