OK International Superproducers Movement Globalizes into China

Among the innovative technologies on display delivering these measurable advantages will be the recently introduced MRS-1000 Modular Rework System. This powerful high accuracy bench top solution is ideal for processes requiring precise control such as the removal of delicate miniature SMT components. By integrating advanced rework technologies, the MRS-1000 is an extremely versatile system comprising a handheld convection tool with a wide array of nozzles, pre-heater, adjustable tool holder with board holder, and light magnifier. Capable of handling PCBs up to 12" x 12" or above using the stand-alone BH-1000 Board Holder, the manually-assisted rework system is equipped to process components up to 40mm x 40mm, making it a flexible solution processes requiring increased control.
Superproducers have heralded the performance of the PS-900 Soldering System which will be prominently displayed and demonstrated by the Oki team. With SmartHeat® technology at its core, the PS-900 raises power output without using excessive tip temperatures. This improves production quality, joint formation, and reduces tip erosion for lower tip replacement costs and downtime. A free tip is currently included with every system (STV-CH24A) further improving COO.
The sophisticated new APR-5000 XL/XLS Array Package Rework System will also be showcased. It now enables the simultaneous use of inner and outer pre-heaters which increase the productivity of the unit by reducing rework cycle time. Meanwhile, lowered nozzle temperature protects the component under rework to achieve the same required temperature with solder joints or balls and reducing BGA lid temperatures.
