Amsoil Pre-Charger Cuts Costs

Today's commercial trucking industry faces greater challenges than ever before. Fuel and maintenance costs making margins every increasingly difficult. These will be as much as almost half of the costs to move goods from A to B. When a fleet of trucks has the need for down time due to maintenance, profits and reason for being in business can disappear very quickly.

Amsoil Inc. has the AMS-Oiler that will recharge the engine's bearing with 160 cubic centimeters of lubricant to make the first two minutes a non-issue as far as friction is concerned. Fifty percent of the wear in an engine takes place in the first two minutes. Triggering the pump that is discharged from the reservoir that has been charged during the trip prior to shutting it down. It is a streamline and self contained constructed of anodized aluminum and carbon steel. It has a life cycle exceeding one million starts.

During the dead of winter, this technology will save considerable fuel and wear and tear on the engine's first five minutes. Fuel will not be needed to be used as it stands during a lunch break or even over night. When the weather is thirty below, trucks will not shut down their engines if they use petroleum based engine oils. Synthetic lubricants eliminate the need for such waste. Clean exhaust at the start-up is a very comforting sight when emissions standards are getting harder to meet.
