PEER Bearing Announces Launch of Oil Seals Product Line
Waukegan, IL - USA. PEER Bearing Company announced today that It has begun the manufacture and distribution of a new line of Oil Seals for use in general industry, as well as Oil Bath Seals designed for wheel hubs of trucks, buses, and tractors.
PEER Oil Seals meet ISO 6194 standards. They are available in more than 100 different types ranging from single lip designs to metal clad seals to fit shaft sizes ranging from 3.2mm to 317.5mm. Custom designs can be created to meet particular specifications. Four base polymers are available to meet a wide variety of sealing conditions: Nitrile, Polyacrylate, Silicone and Fluoroelastomer. Each of these compounds is formulated to meet ASTM D2000 standards. Oils seals are used to retain lubrication and exclude dirt and moisture in engines, pumps, gear reducers, electric motors and many other applications
PEER Oil Bath Seals are specialized oil seals designed for bus, truck and tractor axles. Four basic unitized one piece designs featuring metal or Nitrile-covered OD with ground surface and front chamfer will be offered, each interchangeable with industry standard specifications. Customized variations are also available.
