OceanServer Technology, Inc. Awarded Contract for Two AUVs by the Naval Oceanographic Office


Fall River, MA-September 21, 2007 - OceanServer has been awarded a contract to deliver AUVs to the Naval Oceanographic Office for use in an evaluation program involving a variety of sensor payloads for near-coastal hydrographic applications. The systems will be based on the COTS Iver 2 AUV, equipped with side scan sonar and chemical sensors for monitoring water quality parameters. Each system will include a GUI-based Mission Planner for developing missions and analyzing collected data sets.

OceanServer will also provide user training and limited operational support during the evaluation period.
