November 1, 2007 - Trumbull, CT and Rochester, NY - Oce and Videk announced they are working together to bring state-of-the-art verification systems to transactional and other operations with rigorous output quality and security monitoring requirements.
Oce is a global leader in digital document management and delivery, and Videk is a leading manufacturer of document quality and security technology for the printing and mailing industries. Under the new agreement, Oce is now a reseller of the Videk® Print Verification System(TM) (PVS) 8400 line and related services. Videk will support Oce by providing needs analysis, application support, installation and training to customers. The result is a turnkey assessment and implementation process that ensures content integrity and confidentiality, document quality and customer satisfaction.
To meet compliance regulations, operations must demonstrate the integrity and security of their document processes. With this new agreement, they can enhance their digital print workflow with proven verification tools for critical transaction applications that contain confidential information. Enterprises have the further advantage of a unified offering for all verification and quality assurance needs, from simple bar code readers to advanced full page scanning solutions. The PVS 8400 has the ability to read simplex and duplex pages, making it a good choice for customers using Oce digital printers for transaction and other applications requiring tracking and verification.
