NTS New Jersey Increases Aerospace Test Capabilities
Expanded Power Supply Capabilities Now Available on Both Coasts
Tinton Falls, NJ - July 30, 2007 - National Technical Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: NTSC) (NTS), a leading provider of engineering services, announced today the addition of a new high power variable frequency programmable power supply capability at their Tinton Falls, NJ test laboratory.
The AC/DC programmable power supply is capable of supplying 45 kVA. This capability is necessary to support RTCA/DO-160D/E, MIL-STD-704D/E and ABD0100.1.8 (Airbus) requirements. Similar capability with up to 90 kVA output was added at the NTS Fullerton, CA facility in January of this year.

The NTS Tinton Falls, NJ facility offers extensive capabilities and experience conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Product Safety and Electrical testing to military, aerospace, telecommunications, and other industry specifications. The ability to supply 400 Hz and 800 Hz power allows for increased testing frequency on aircraft components for Airbus and Boeing, who have both instituted this frequency as standard.
