NSA Certifies Smallest, Lightest IP Encryptor from General Dynamics

December 10, 2007 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - The National Security Agency (NSA) has certified General Dynamics' new TACLANE®-Micro (KG-175D), industry's smallest and lightest in-line network encryptor. The encryptor secures communication and data classified at Top Secret level and below on commercial, military and government Internet Protocol networks. Designed for mobile or fixed platforms where space and power are limited, the rugged KG-175D can be managed remotely and is compliant with the NSA's High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor Interoperability Specification (HAIPE® IS) version 1.3.5.
