NOW ResinDek® Mezzanine Flooring Panels


Cincinnati, OH, October 17, 2007 - Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC has recently earned certifications from SCS (Scientific Certification Systems) for their ResinDek® mezzanine decking panels.

These certifications are provided to support the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating systems, which was created to establish a common standard of measurement for what constitutes a "green" building. LEED® provides certifications to companies that want to document their environmentally friendly practices for the construction of new buildings and maintenance of existing buildings. All ResinDek® flooring panels are eligible for LEED® Credits MR 4.1, 4.2, and potentially 5.1 and 5.2 within 500 miles of Louisville, Kentucky.

Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products has also introduced a new panel product, ResinDek® EF (Environmentally Friendly) that is made with no urea-formaldehyde containing additives and has been lab tested to less than 0.05 ppm. These panels are eligible for LEED Credits EQ 4.4 in addition to MR 4.1, 4.2, and potentially 5.1, 5.2 within 500 miles of Louisville, Kentucky.
