"The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr Notebook PC and the Compaq CQ10-688nr provide our customers the reliability they've come to expect from our network combined with our new 4G LTE speeds - all within compact, yet extremely powerful computers," said Marni Walden, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless. "As the first notebook PCs to use the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, they demonstrate our commitment to bringing our customers a wide breadth of devices to suit their mobile needs."

"We're excited to offer the first notebook PC and mini for Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network," said Todd Achilles, vice president, North America Service Providers, Personal Systems Group, HP. "Through our collaboration, customers will experience true mobile computing via compact, stylish PCs and blazing speed."

The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr combines the performance of a notebook with the mobility of a netbook. Measuring less than 1-inch thin, the 11.6-inch HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr includes HP CoolSense Technology, which combines advanced hardware and intelligent cooling software for a notebook that feels noticeably cooler. Customers can watch HD content in smooth 1080p for a full HD(1) viewing experience. The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr includes the latest VISION Technology from AMD - powered by an AMD Fusion Accelerated Processing Unit, which integrates a Microsoft® DirectX 11 capable graphics processing unit into the main processor.

With up to 9.5 hours of battery life(2) and 320 gigabytes (GB) (3) of storage, the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr includes a full-size, island-style keyboard, multi-format digital media card reader, HDMI port, Dolby Advanced Audio and GPS for mapping and navigation(4).

Less than 1-inch thick and with a 10.1-inch diagonal anti-glare widescreen LED display, the slim and stylish Compaq CQ10-688nr offers an ideal balance of size, weight and performance for internet browsing and entertainment. Featuring an Intel® Atom N455 processor for reliable, energy-efficient performance, a 6-cell in-line battery providing up to 8.5 hours of battery life (2), multi-format digital media card reader, webcam and multiple connectivity options with WLAN, and Verizon 4G LTE wireless network, the Compaq CQ10-688nr allows users to take just what they need and leave the rest on their primary PC.

Both the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr and Compaq CQ10-688nr can be turned into mobile hotspots and allow other WiFi enabled devices to connect with the integrated Internet Connection Sharing application.

The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network, launched in December 2010, is the fastest, most advanced 4G network in the United States, providing speeds up to 10 times faster than Verizon Wireless' 3G network. Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network currently reaches one-third of all Americans, with plans to expand the network to the company's entire 3G coverage area over the next three years.

The HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr Notebook PC and HP Compaq CQ10-688nr will be on display at CES in Verizon Wireless' booth (#35216 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center).
