MPC Computers Introduces the TransPort T1300 Notebook Computer
Offers the Latest in Mainstream Notebook PC Technology
NAMPA, Idaho, March 20 / -- MPC Computers, a wholly owned subsidiary of HyperSpace Communications, Inc. (AMEX:HCO), today announced the TransPort(R) T1300 notebook computer. This new system features the latest in notebook PC technology, such as the new Intel(R) 945GM chipset, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) and Bluetooth. The chipset supports 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory and can be powered by the optional Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo mobile processor technology.
Intel Core Duo mobile technology provides greater overall system performance by running multiple tasks simultaneously. TPM ensures greater protection and security, while the integrated Bluetooth technology enables wireless connectivity with a multitude of peripherals.
The TransPort T1300 offers many other enhancements as well. The system features a 14.1" widescreen XGA display with 1280x800 resolution providing a sharp, clear picture. Additionally, the notebook incorporates Gigabit Ethernet, which facilitates faster network connection speeds. The 4-in-1 media card reader allows for quick and easy transfer of various media such as memory sticks, secure digital cards or multi-media cards.

The TransPort T1300 includes three years of depot repair service, replacement parts and technical support as part of the standard configuration. Up to five years of depot repair service, replacement parts and technical support is available at an additional cost.

Advanced Portable Exchange
Customers can restore their notebook functionality quickly with MPC's innovative Advanced Portable Exchange service. If MPC Technical Support determines a customer's notebook needs to be replaced, MPC will ship the replacement notebook to the customer on the next business day, anywhere in the continental U.S. Furthermore, the replacement notebook will have the same serial number as the original notebook, allowing customers to maintain consistency within their asset management records.
SystemSat
SystemSat provides the highest level of protection for MPC notebooks. This service provides for system repairs and replacements due to any covered accidental damage such as drops, liquid spills, cracked screens, or fire.
