Nortech Adds IEC60945 Approval to its "HB" Display Line
East Taunton, Massachusetts – Nortech Engineering adds IEC60945 approval to its already popular "HB" (high bright) series of industrial LCD displays. This certification guarantees successful integration into almost any marine application both military and commercial. These specialized displays have the ability to be viewed in direct sunlight as well as the distinction of dimming to absolute zero for nighttime operations. This approval is initially available on our most popular size the 19" with the 15" and 17" sizes in development. Available now in panel, arm or rack mount configurations with protective faceplates or optional touch screens.
Nortech has been supplying custom hardware (LCD displays and computers) to the United States Coast Guard and US Navy for over ten (10) years. This new approval will allow us to become one of the top suppliers for new project requirements as well as the replacement or upgrade of current systems.
Nortech is also excited to now have a product line that can be easily integrated into commercial marine applications as well. These new monitors should be a perfect match for a bridge display in direct sunlight or below decks with its dimming feature. Rugged construction and aggressive pricing simplify the task of choosing the right display for your next marine project.
Brightness range on the new LED backlight system is from zero to 1500 nits. 75 watt MIL-SPEC power supply, dual layer corrosion proof polymer finish and front mounted tactile geometry adjustment controls complete the assembly. Multiple video input options range from VGA, DVI and NTSC with front panel switching between the various inputs.
