Nordson to Showcase Adhesive Dispensing Innovations at PACex 2007
DULUTH, Ga., April 18 // -- Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ:NDSN), the world's leading producer of precision dispensing equipment, announces its participation at PACex International, May 8-10, in Toronto, Canada. Nordson's booth 5041 will reflect the Innovation, Service and Choice theme with an emphasis on maximizing productivity and adhesive savings in packaging applications.
Displays and demonstrations in booth 5041:
o Active winder with a SureBead(R) pneumatic gun (fed by a ProBlue(R)
melter), an E-400 electric gun (fed by a DuraBlue(R) melter), and a
LogiComm(R) pattern control system will demonstrate hot melt adhesive
placement and verification as well as bar code detection
o Video presentation and static display of labeling system with patented
PatternJet(TM) guns, designed for high-speed labeling of containers in
various shapes and sizes
o Display of the new Classic IX(TM) adhesive melt systems with field-
proven technology for use in fruit, vegetable and seafood packaging
applications as well as an extensive range of adhesive dispensing guns
for packaging applications from case sealing to confectionary wrapping
o Real-time adhesive savings calculator will provide attendees with
takeaway data on the benefits of stitching patterns
o Displays of rebuilt equipment and Nordson aftermarket parts and service programs, including the new Partnership+Plus(SM) program, designed to minimize downtime
Nordson will also host two solution-focused seminars, May 8-9, in Room 103 at PACex.
o Olivier Huss, market development manager, will present "Innovations in
Non-Contact Labeling," on the advantages of replacing contact glue-pot
labeling wheels with non-contact adhesive application systems.
o Bentley Boger, strategic program manager, will present "Unlocking the
Power of Choice," an introduction to Nordson's newest programs designed to simplify equipment acquisition and service.
