Nordson® Partnership+PlusSM Program Eliminates Upfront Expense, Simplifies Hot Melt Equipment Acquisition and Recapitalization

DULUTH, Ga., May 2 - The Nordson (NASDAQ:NDSN) Partnership+Plus program lets packagers acquire new Nordson adhesive dispensing equipment for a simple monthly fee, eliminating the upfront capital expense associated with traditional equipment purchasing methods.

As the primary offering in Nordson's new Power of Choice(TM) programs, the Partnership+Plus program provides customers with Nordson's latest technology including new ProBlue® melters, which process all standard hot melt adhesives, including new low-temperature formulations; Blue Series(TM) guns; and Advanced Technology hoses. Nordson provides parts, standard maintenance, a 23-point annual service check and system cleaning. A 36-month comprehensive warranty and complimentary spare parts welcome package are also included with each system.

Factory-trained technicians provide installation and start-up assistance and Nordson will replace the system after 36 months or sooner, depending on wear.

Customers who trade in competitive or older Nordson adhesive dispensing systems can qualify for a free FillEasy(TM) automated adhesive feed system. Automatic filling saves operator time and prevents thermal shock and adhesive degradation, while reducing contamination and downtime due to an empty melter tank.

According to Bentley Boger, marketing manager for Nordson Corporation, "Partnership Plus gives packagers an easy way to get new hot melt dispensing equipment into their plants without the hassle of requesting upfront capital dollars. It's a great way to upgrade older systems. With Nordson supplying major service and parts, they can also save on inventory and maintenance."
