New Touchless Rotary Position Sensor
Southborough, MAÂ – Novotechnik U.S. introduces the Vert-X 28HD Series of non-contact angle sensors. These magnetic sensors are designed for harsh environments. They have an aluminum housing and are sealed for protection against ingress of liquids and solids to IP 69K.
Key specifications for the Vert-X 28HD Series include 0 to 360° measurement range, 12-bit, repeatability of 0.1° or better, and maximum hysteresis of 0.1°. Output options are 0.1 to 10 V, 0.5 to 4.5 V or 4 to 20 mA. Positive gradient clockwise or counterclockwise output options are available.
Minimum life of Vert-X 28HD Series is 360 million movements and MTBF is 185 or 240 years – depending on version. These sensors are tested to withstand shock and vibration to 50g and 20g respectively. Operating and storage temperature range is -40 to +85°C. Applications include off-highway vehicles, public transportation vehicles and food production equipment.
