San Ramon, California - July 25, 2007 - Nobix Inc. has today become the sole US reseller of interSeptor - Jacarta's environmental monitoring hardware. After providing the best value in the IT management software market for over 20 years and serving thousand of customers world wide; interSeptor will allow Nobix to provide customers with yet another tool to improve their productivity.
IT Managers can now remotely monitor their data center, racks or indeed any other critical area from just about anywhere in the world with interSeptor. It provides a cost-effective, 'out-of-the-box' 10/100 environmental monitoring system facilitating greater security for data centers. Continuous checks can be made against conditions including temperature, humidity, water seepage, UPS, smoke, physical security and power, depending on the type of sensors attached to it.
By combining interSeptor with PageAlert, Nobix alerting and notification software, IT departments can also have complete control over potential technical problems and events such as system failures, errors, thresholds, exceptions and completed tasks. With PageAlert, message notifications from applications and operating systems can be automatically sent as voice/email/paging messages as soon as problems are detected.
PageAlert v2.5, to be released in the beginning of third quarter, 2007 will also have a browser interface for activity checking and control of alerts. With its escalation and broadcast features, PageAlert ensures IT staff can maintain the highest possible reliability and availability for their computer systems.
