SHENZHEN, China, Jan. 23 -- Noah Education Holdings Ltd. ("Noah") (NYSE:NED), a leading provider of interactive education content in China, today announced that Noah's first handheld digital learning device (DLD) with graphic calculator technology will be rolled out into 14 middle schools in the cities of Shenyang and Fushun in Liaoning Province.

"The successful roll out of Noah's DLD incorporating graphic calculator technology is an important step forward in China's use of educational technology," said Mr. Dong Xu, Noah's chairman and chief executive officer. "By creating effective visual demonstrations of complicated mathematical concepts and problems, this technology will play an important role as a highly effective complement to traditional mathematical instruction."

Mr. Yu Shengquan, professor of education technology at Beijing Normal University and Leader of the Ministry of Education's task force on Hand-Held Educational Study Systems added, "Noah's graphic calculator technology exceeds the standards set by the Ministry of Education's 11th Five-Year-Plan and is an important step forward in the use of educational technology in China's schools. We feel that this should be an excellent tool to help students explore and learn advanced mathematical concepts."

Noah is planning to work with additional provinces in China to roll out DLD's incorporating graphic calculator technology into more schools in 2008.

Commenting on Noah's strategy, Mr. Xu concluded, "As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the very best supplemental education content and services to China's 210 million school children aged 5 to 19, Noah will continue to leverage technology to create unique educational products that bring traditional learning to life and help students succeed."
