Hyson Products Adds Two Models to T3 Series



Brecksville, OH-Hyson Products has expanded the T3 Series of nitrogen gas springs to include T3-1500 and T3-9500 models to provide customers even more choice among contact forces and diameters. Hyson Products is a division of Associated Spring, a business unit of Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE:B)

The T3-1500 gas spring is 2-1/2 inches in diameter with a contact force of 3375 lbs. while the T3-9500 has a six-inch diameter and a contact force of 21,400 lbs. There are nine T3 models in all with forces from 785 - 21,400 lbs. and diameters from 1-1/4" - 6".

Engineered with a larger piston rod for higher tonnage in a compact height, the T3 Series offers forces up to 60% higher than current conventional gas springs in equivalent diameters. All T3 springs feature a hardened, corrosion resistant rod finish; patented safety guide, tapped holes for easy mounting, a compact two-way valve for force adjustability, ISO square mounting groove for standard flange options, and an oil retaining pipe for improved lubrication in the hosed system mode. All operate in both self-contained and hosed system mode.
