Original Press Release:

Nitrogen Evaporator Evenly Heats up to 80 Samples at Once

A new, compact dry block analytical nitrogen evaporator that evenly heats up 80 samples of 10 to 17 mm dia. test tubes simultaneously is being intro-duced by Organomation Associates, Inc. of Berlin, Massachusetts.

The MULTIVAP(TM) Model 118 High Speed Nitrogen Evaporator features an aluminum dry block 500 Watt heater with an 80-position (8 X 10 array) sample holder that evenly concentrates all test tubes at once. Designed to accommodate 10 to 17 mm dia. test tubes, this compact analytical batch evaporator uses standard 19-gauge needles aligned in rows of 10 which can each be turned on/off to let users tailor the open positions to their sample requirements.

Providing built-in timer controls for nitrogen flow from 0 to 30 lpm and heat from 30º to 120ºC, the MULTIVAP(TM) Model 118 High Speed Nitrogen Evap-orator includes a needle guide plate and a spring-assisted hoist assembly. Requiring a 14" x 16" footprint, it is only 22" high to minimize hood space. An acid resistant coating for the manifold and needles is optional, and 9-, 30-, and 48-position models are also offered.

The MULTIVAP(TM) Model 118 High Speed Nitrogen Evaporator is priced from $3,680.00. Literature and price quotations are available upon request.
