Enhances Automation, Intelligence and Fluorescence Capabilities

MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 10 -- Nikon Instruments, a leader in the development of advanced optical technology, today announced new motorized accessories for the Nikon Eclipse 80i microscope that provide cost effective modular solutions for automated microscopy. The Eclipse 80i is designed to meet the highest optical demands of digital imaging technology over a broad range of applications including cell biology, neuroscience, drug discovery, biochemistry, molecular bio, genomics, pathology, medical and related research environments.

Due to overwhelming growth of fluorescence microscopy with fluorescent proteins and the increasing requirement for automation, Nikon has introduced the #MBE74200 D-FL-E Motorized Epi-Fluorescence Illuminator, and the 80i motorized Sextuple DIC Nosepiece.
