Sandmeyer Steel Company Adds 825 (UNS N08825), a High Performance Corrosion Resistant Nickel Alloy

Sandmeyer Steel Company has added 825 (UNS N08825, W. Nr. 2.4858) to its extensive line of corrosion resistant stainless steel and nickel alloy plate and plate products. Nickel alloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. The alloy was developed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments - both oxidizing and reducing. The addition of 825 will allow Sandmeyer Steel Company to better service the chemical and petrochemical, food processing, nuclear fuel reprocessing and waste handling, oil and gas production, petroleum refining, pollution control, and steel pickling industries.

Sandmeyer Steel Company is stocking 825 in plate thicknesses from .1875" (5 mm) through 2.00" (51 mm) thick. The Company also stocks a large inventory of other nickel alloys including 330, 400, 400AR, 600, 625, 800H, 800AT, and C276.
