MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-Aug. 9, 2005-NeoPath Networks, a leading provider of network file management (NFM) solutions, today announced the FD-220 File Director(TM), the industry's most advanced NFM appliance designed for tiered storage environments. The FD-220 File Director is the only product to offer real-time file characterization, policy-based file management, file migration (even during client access), and namespace virtualization for transparency.
