VALENCIA, Calif., Dec. 19 / -- Nexus IS, Inc. announced today that it played a significant role in the development and deployment of a new collaborative technology featured in Umpqua Bank's latest store concept, the Innovation Lab, located in Portland, Oregon's South Waterfront neighborhood. The lab's "Ask an Expert" activity, was made possible by Nexus IS, Inc. technology using Cisco's Unified MeetingPlace solution to connect customers with face-to-face experts on a wide range of financial topics at any time.
Nexus IS, Inc. designed, configured, deployed, and tuned the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace application in order for Umpqua Bank to provide an innovative way for its customers to conduct face-to-face meetings with financial experts regardless of locale.
