Next-Generation MIPS-Based(TM) Designs Spotlight Innovation at Embedded Systems Conference


SAN JOSE, Calif., April 3 - EMBEDDED SYSTEMS CONFERENCE - MIPS Technologies (NASDAQ:MIPS) will showcase a wide array of industry-leading processors and embedded technologies with partners and customers targeting digital consumer, broadband, networking and portable devices. MIPS' presenting partners displaying a host of next-generation products in booth # 1238 include:

o Raza Microelectronics Inc. will feature products based on its Alchemy and XLR processors, including Samsung's digital media broadcast mobile TV, the Blufin combination PMP/GPS/PDA from Tinnos, and NEC's VoTol Portable Media Player with voice translation

o PMC-Sierra will display its newly-announced high performance MSP7100 Series residential gateway SoCs, integrated with the multi-threaded MIPS32® 34K(TM) core
