Next Generation Films Orders 5th VAREX Co-extrusion Line from Windmoeller & Hoelscher


LINCOLN, RI - Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corporation is pleased to announce the sale of a
3-layer VAREX® co-extrusion line to Next Generation Films (Next) of Lexington, Ohio. This order marks the fifth W&H blown film line at Next and the second W&H line ordered by Next in the past nine months.

This new high-output 134" VAREX® line with grooved feed extruders (105.30/135.30/105.30D), a 35" OPTIFIL® P2 die, and FILMATIC® T dual turret winder is scheduled to begin production in late Summer 2010. Based on Next's resin recipes, the line is expected to reach an output level of 20 million pounds per year.

Next Generation Films, Inc. was founded in 1994 and is a supplier of specialty films to a variety of markets, including food packaging, automobile, courier, manufactured housing and protective packaging segments.
