News Coverage Puts Safe-Latch in The Spotlight On-air Segments Demonstrate Fast and Easy Classroom Lockdowns

Wisconsin CBS affiliate WDJT recently produced a Special Report on school security, featuring Safe-Latch as a company designing products to keep kids safe at school. The CBS story is one of several news features showcasing Safe-Latch this year. ABC affiliate WISN also aired a segment called Made in Wisconsin and included a demonstration of how Safe-Latch works. Another feature, shown on Wisconsin local channel WTMJ, spotlights the cost savings over replacing the 700 Classroom Intruder Locksets in one district schools. As the segment shows, purchasing new Classroom Intruder Locksets at $300 apiece would have cost nearly a quarter of a million dollars; deploying Safe-Latch carried a total cost of about $12,000.
