Snake Scope VOYAGER: Designed with Convenience in Mind
Snake Scope VOYAGER is an industrial video borescope with joystick controlled articulation. Recently it has been enhanced with HD resolution at 1280x720 pixels for larger diameter probes of 3.9mm and 6mm.
Woburn, Mass. (PRWeb) April 18, 2019 -- The new VOYAGER Snake Scope is a highly versatile industrial video borescope, designed particularly for inspections of narrow and twisted passages, small bores, thin cracks, and other areas of difficult access. The videoscope offers a rich selection of insertion probe lengths and diameters. The lengths run from 3.2ft. - 22.9ft. (1.0m - 7.0m), while the diameters start at 2.2mm and include 0.11" (2.8mm), 0.15" (3.9mm), and 0.23" (6mm) options. The probes with the two larger diameters now boast HD image resolution (1280x720 pixels). However, even the tiniest 2.2 mm probe has 160,000 pixels resolution. The probes are water- and oil-proof and protected from damage with extra durable tungsten braiding. The snake scope was conceived with user-friendliness in mind. All probes have omni-directional articulation controlled by a convenient joystick manipulator. The probes are interchangeable and can be switched in a matter of seconds. Overall, convenience and user-friendliness are the key highlights of VOYAGER Snake Scope. As if all of this were not enough, the body of the scope has pistol grip design and is equipped with a magnetic stand to securely place the unit on any metallic surface in the desired position.
The results of the inspection are projected onto a 3.5’’ color TFT display and can be saved on an included micro SD card. All captured video (MP4) and photo (JPEG) files are marked with a time and date stamp. The tip of the VOYAGER Snake Scope probe houses a tiny camera with a CMOS chip. The illumination is provided by 7-step adjustable high intensity white LEDs with the expected lamp lifetime of approximately 5,000 hours and 8,000 to 60,000 lux light intensity. Infrared LEDs are also available as an option upon request.
