In August of 2018, Ex-Cell Kaiser announced the new VC-2234 Half Round Receptacle.
When researching the market, it was apparent there was a void in larger capacity half-round units. Competitive units are typically much smaller, usually between 8 - 12 gallons and are unable to serve high traffic areas. Above a 12-gallon capacity, there are few options in the marketplace.
