New Industrial Computer Series TP-3485
3/18/2019 - Charlotte, NC - Teguar’s new TP-3485 Series combines powerful processing, configurability, and connectivity into lightweight, durable, industrial-grade housings. The series is available in two screen sizes, 15”, both of which have 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and a display ratio of 4:3, which is ideal for many software applications used in the industry.
These PCs are built for tough environments. The fanless design protects internal parts from dust or debris that is often present in manufacturing environments and can cause the computer to fail. The fanless cooling system also allows this PC to operate silently. The rugged aluminum enclosure is complimented by an IP65 rated front bezel. An optional rear cover is available to enhance the aesthetics at all angles for public kiosk and POS applications.
The TP-3485 series is loaded with I/Os including a DC jack, 2x RS-232/422/485, 1 x RS232, 1 x DisplayPort, 2x LAN and 4x USB 3.0 on the bottom of the PC. More I/Os are located on the right side for easy access including a mic-in and line-out, an SD card slot, and 2x USB 2.0. These PCs have a 2.5” SATA Drive Bay, an M.2 slot for embedded storage, and are available with up to 8GB of RAM. They have a Quad-core Intel Pentium N4200 CPU (Apollo Lake), which is power-efficient and provides sufficient processing speeds to interface with your ERP system, view sensor data, and run other applications commonly used in industrial settings.
A unique feature of the TP-3485 is its optional internal battery. The battery has the capacity to last for up to 1.5 hours, so you will have plenty of time to save important documents in the case of an unexpected power outage, or you can unplug and move the PC without shutting it down. This PC has a VESA hole pattern on the back, giving it numerous mounting options including arms, walls, columns, and brackets, with the ability to be mounted onto any OEM machine.
