DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcoverings Debuts New Designs in Avant-Garde Collection

New style-forward wallcoverings are resistant to bacteria growth, mold & mildew.

WILMINGTON, DEL. (PRWEB) JUNE 09, 2020 - DuPont (NYSE: DD) today introduced the newest pattern additions to the DuPont™ Tedlar™ Wallcovering Avant-Garde collection.

Inspired by nature’s essential building blocks, Roccia and Travertino are the latest seasonal patterns in the Avant-Garde collection, giving designers even more stone and metal options for a strong, durable look indoors. The stacked-slate look of Roccia has Italian-inspired names ranging from light patterns like ‘Grigio’ to darker shades with blue undertones found in ‘Azure.’ A familiar texture in the Travertino design features colors such as the elegant ‘Ivory’ and the sturdy ‘Black’ shade.

“We’re committed to adding more patterns and colors every season to give architects and designers the freedom to create modern, on-trend spaces” said Fallyn Flaherty-Earp, global marketing manager, DuPont Advanced Materials. “We collaborate with national design councils to gather design and trend feedback and incorporate these key elements into every collection.”

In addition to contemporary aesthetics, Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are cleanable and resistant to mold, mildew, and bacteria growth. Third-party laboratory tests show that Tedlar® film does not support or provide nutrients to assist mold and bacteria growth, including E-coli.

“Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are the only wallcoverings with a protective long-lasting film that does not break down over time from multiple cleanings, known to customers.” Flaherty-Earp said. “Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are easy to clean and can stand up to the harshest industrial cleaning products, including bleach and alcohol-based solvents, without discoloration.”

Tedlar™ Wallcoverings are ideal for high-traffic spaces, like hotel lobbies, restaurants, waiting rooms, medical facilities, and workplaces. This protective wallcovering is also scratch and stain resistant to help maintain a finished look longer.

Tedlar™ Wallcoverings have GREENGUARD Gold Certification and GREENGUARD Mold and Mildew Verification as well as Health Product Declaration (HPD) approval from the HPD Collaborative. HPD is a set of precise regulations that report the contents and health effects of products.

Designers can learn more about the UL GREENGUARD Gold environmental certification of our products in the SPOT Products Catalog. Search “Tedlar” to see certifications for our wallcoverings.
