CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers in partnership with bestselling manufacturer Lascar Electronics has introduced the first major redesign of Lascar's EasyLog datalogging configuration software since its introduction. The newest version of the EL-USB-WIN configuration software is now available for free download from Lascar's website at www.lascarelectronics.com/data-logger/easylogger-software.php. Version 6.0 introduces users to a cleaner and more up-to-date version of its original software, including larger and clearer configuration icons as well as improved charting functionality. CAS DataLoggers is now supplying this user-friendly software FREE with each Lascar data logger. The latest build of the software includes a major revision which incorporates an updated user interface, support for graphing of event data, and the ability to graph the larger data sets that will be produced by forthcoming product launches.
All the convenient functionality of the popular EasyLog configuration software has been kept in the new version, along with significant improvements enhancing user experience. For example, the graphing module is able to process larger data sets, and data from EL-USB-5 loggers can now be graphed, as can data from Lascar's larger-capacity units scheduled for launch later this year. Also, users of EL-USB-1-LCD temperature dataloggers can now delay triggering of alarm LEDs when the high and low alarms are selected and activated. This feature is designed for users who need to monitor when temperature falls outside a desired parameter without needing to know that an alarm level has been reached via LED until a certain number of logs occur in alarm mode.
Additionally, the new version works with all Lascar USB data loggers purchased in the last 5 years, and all previously saved data sets can be viewed too. Users with earlier software versions will be automatically updated during installation. Every new Lascar product launched this year will use Version 6.0.
