VPI Introduces CAT6a Right Angle to Straight Thin Shielded Patch Cords
Aurora, OH: Video Products Inc (VPI) today announced the addition of the CAT6a Right Angle to Straight Thin Shielded Patch Cords to its popular line of Angled Patch Cables. The 30AWG cables are thinner and lighter than standard CAT6A shielded cables, and feature a right angle connector on one end that is useful in tight fit situations.
The CAT6A-RAS-THN-xx-BLACK-SHLD cables are only 0.177” in diameter and ideal for high density datacenter applications, behind desks, or wall connections. When the plug tab on the 90-degree RJ45 connector is on top, the cable extends to the right. The patch cords feature snagless strain relief boots to prevent excessive bending while reducing stress on the cable, and have stranded copper conductors for flexibility – great for frequent changes that occur at the wall outlet or patch panel.
The slim CAT6a cables feature a foil shield with drain wire, which protects signals from external noise. The network cable is designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet environments with patch panels, switches, computers, and routers. Offered in lengths of 2/6/9/15 feet, the cables support full- and half-duplex operations.
