Original Press Release:

High Stability Pressure Sensors With Fast Response Time

Boston, Massachusetts... Bristol Instruments introduces the SD Series of stainless steel pressure sensors. They feature stability of 0.2% of full scale per year, and a response time of < 1 ms over 10 to 90% of full scare range so they can handle dynamic as well as static pressure measurements.

Feature packed, the SD Series has high peak pressure limits from 1.5X up to 2X full scale-depending on range. They are sealed to IP 65 and the outputs are short circuit protected. These transducers are also temperature compensated with a tempco of 0.2%/K for zero and span.

Pressure measurement ranges for the SD Series are 0 to 6,000 psi covered by 14 models starting at 0 to 25 psi and -15 to +300 psi with 7 models starting at -15 to +10 psi. Output options are 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5 and 0 to 10 VDC.

Fittings are ¼- and ½-inch NPT. Life is over 50 million pressure cycles.
