Gericke USA Unveils 2019 Line of Rotary Valves

RotaVal Line Offers 1000's of Configurations for Every Process

Somerset, NJ: Process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA, Somerset, NJ (www.gerickegroup.com), has unveiled its 2019 lineup of rotary valves. Encompassing the Hygienic Series, Heavy-Duty Series and Extra Heavy-Duty Series, the RotaVal line of rotary valves offers a choice of more than 15,000 different configurations to suit virtually any powder handling process, along with custom valves for special situations. Engineered for rugged, reliable performance in the food, dairy, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics, mineral and other industries, the versatile valves are proven to safely discharge powders from hoppers, fill process machinery, dose from silos, and isolate pneumatic conveying zones between sifters, mixers, screw conveyors and other equipment.

The Hygienic Series valves feature stainless steel construction with polished internals and externals and removable end covers all set on a novel sliding guide rail system that invites easy access for fast cleaning without removal from the processing line. These sanitary, self-draining valves are available with Hastelloy and other foodgrade coatings as needed. The Heavy-Duty Series valves are offered in a choice of cast iron, SG iron, stainless steel or aluminum to match the process requirements without over-specifying and come in standard sizes as large as 600 mm x 1,200 mm. For highly abrasive materials and extreme situations, the Extra Heavy-Duty valves feature durable cast iron with hardened steel blades, plasma nitride-coated shaft sleeves and tungsten carbide-coated liners for high wear resistance. All of the valves are available in optional explosion containment models for processing combustible dust.
