The roof-mounted flexible solar panels achieve added durability from a highly protective top-layer called ETFE (Ethylene-Tetra-Fluoro-Ethylene), which allows for better light transmittance, corrosion resistance, stain-resistance and weather resistance. The result is an overall superior performance over a wide temperature range while withstanding a variety of environmental conditions, compared to non-ETFE semi-flexible panels.
