Monrovia, CA –Amada Miyachi America, Inc., a leading manufacturer of resistance welding, laser welding, marking, cutting, and micro machining equipment and systems, announces it offers complete local product and sales support for the DC2013-T Series high performance resistance spot welding power supply, manufactured by our sister company MacGregor™. The DC2013-T Series combines touch panel integrated database process control and monitoring with ultra-high duty and low ripple 3000 A DC output. It is ideal for such applications as crimping weld connectors, making pre-compacted wire to terminal connections, and projection welding dashboard switches. It is also a good choice for resistance welding engine motor armature, and stranded wire to coil or terminal welding.

Integrating state-of-the art technologies, DC2013-T units take the concept of real-time statistical process control (SPC) to unsurpassed levels, allowing welding database profiles to be stored, monitored and adjusted from anywhere in the world using TCP/IP Ethernet. The internal database technology provides process and production engineers with a vast array of process control features that enhance production line quality control and monitoring methodologies.

The DC2013-T has a number of useful features. The power switching system provides unsurpassed levels of DC current with ultra-low ripple and fast loop response to react to and control challenging applications. High voltage outputs permit long cabling for automation and power distribution to multi-headed systems.

Operators can view work instructions and process manuals with weld schedules, and see image files with weld schedule for quality control and process checking. A 7-inch color touchscreen panel interface offers a context sensitive, intuitive menu system. High speed automation and communication ports provide full remote control capability. Available options include models featuring optically isolated analog electrical channel monitoring, as well as models with built-in 1, 3, or 6 channel weld displacement monitoring and dynamic weld cutoff.
