Wiegmann Introduces Stainless Steel Pushbutton Enclosures
South Bend, Indiana May 5, 2020 - Wiegmann introduces stainless steel versions of the PBGX series pushbutton enclosures. These NEMA 4X enclosures are design to hold industry standard 22.5MM push buttons. Wiegmann, part of Hubbell's Commercial Construction brands, provides innovative electrical products to OEM, industrial and commercial markets.
Wiegmann's new stainless steel models adds a new level of protection for operator interfaces. Standard "4 way" 22.5MM pushbutton holes accept all standard brands of miniature pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights.
The PBGX_SS series enclosures are fabricated of 304 stainless steel. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth. To maintain superior sealing, closed cell oil-resistant neoprene gaskets and captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells are provided. External mounting plates are included on the top and bottom. Grounding provisions are included.
The Wiegmann stainless steel operator interface line includes 6 different size pushbutton enclosures, ranging from 1-6 holes. They provide NEMA 4X level protection. Perfect for protecting switch wiring from dust, dirt, oil and water in harsh, even in corrosive, industrial environments.
