Optimizing PreView®’s Most Rugged Solution, PreView Xtreme®, with the PreView Sentry® Award-Winning Blind Spot Radar Platform, PRECO Introduces Sentry®X
BOISE, IDAHO (PRWEB) JULY 21, 2020 - Collision mitigation technology leader PRECO Electronics® has announced the release of PreView Sentry®X, an intelligent radar solution designed to improve situational awareness for operators of large haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment. Combining the narrow field of view from PreView Xtreme® with the award-winning flexibility of PreView Sentry®, Sentry X continues the rugged reliability PRECO customers have come to expect while providing an upgrade path for existing Xtreme users.
Using the Sentry platform, PRECO created Sentry X with a narrower field of view designed to support all the same installation points as the original Xtreme while including Sentry’s 30-meter range capabilities and the ability to adjust the detection zone in both range and width, making it an adept blind spot monitoring sensor.

Improving on the original 5.8 GHz Xtreme, Sentry X operates in the globally approved 200 MHz section of the 24 GHz RF band to support North America, Europe, India, and Japan along with the rest-of-the-world markets. Which extends the range capabilities to 30-meters.
