Exide Makes a Splash with the Launch of New Marine Battery

Exide is first to offer innovative EFB technology to the North America Aftermarket

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Exide Technologies (www.exide.com) announced today the launch of its first-to-market Marine Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) at the AAPEX 2018 show in Las Vegas Oct. 30 – Nov. 1. Exide's Nautilus® EFB provides a new maintenance-free battery design with improved cycling and greater durability to meet the increasing electrical demands in modern marine applications all with an industry leading 2-year warranty.

The new Nautilus EFB is a dual-purpose battery that can not only handle the engine's starting needs but can also meet most marine enthusiast's deep cycle requirements for typical fishing, entertainment and lighting accessories. These capabilities come with the same 2-year warranty as AGM batteries, but at a much more attractive price point for consumers.
