Original Press Release:

Sartomer to Feature New N3xtDimension® Engineered Resins at TCT Asia 2020

Arkema showcases its latest innovations at TCT Asia 2020 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China. The event is expected to be one of the first in-person exhibitions to occur after the peak of COVID-19 and will take place from July 8-10, 2020.

At the event, Arkema’s Sartomer business line will feature new products from the N3xtDimension® line of UV-curable engineered resins for 3D printing:

Elastomeric resins N3D-E3009 and N3D-E3109 enable soft resilience.

Impact resins N3D-I2809 and N3D-I2909 offer a good balance of viscosity and high mechanical properties.

Casting resins in the N3D-C series provide ease in formulating, high resolution and clean burnout.

Water-washable resin N3D-W2509 offers low shrinkage performance while preserving hardness.

These advanced liquid resins help additive manufacturers achieve high performance and foster the adoption of additive manufacturing in new industrial applications.

In addition, N3xtDimension® custom liquid resin systems will be presented, combining the world’s broadest range of oligomers, monomers, photoinitiators, cationic resins and tailor-made solutions tuned for additive manufacturing.

“We are looking forward to taking this important step towards a sense of normalcy after the peak of COVID-19,” said Sumeet Jain, senior director of 3D Printing Worldwide at Arkema. “Arkema has new and innovative materials to share that we know will disrupt traditional manufacturing as we know it. We are excited to showcase them and our other 3D printing solutions at TCT Asia this year.”

Arkema is a world-leading designer of high-performance materials for 3D printing. Most famous are its flagship families – bio-based Rilsan® polyamide 11 polymers that offer very high strength compared with traditional polyamide 12, Kepstan® PEKK polymers that offer truly ultra-high strength and heat resistance, and Sartomer’s N3xtDimension® series of UV-curable solutions custom-designed for exceptional tailored performance.
