These traps effectively condense waxes and metal stearates to prevent their accumulation which contributes to frequent vacuum pump maintenance and premature failure.

MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Traps feature a modular design that condenses, collects, absorbs and removes binder vapors from MIM, CIM, and 3D printing processes. Featuring a baffle stage, cooling option, and one stage of a parallel bank of 9.5” tall stainless steel gauze filters, they effectively condense waxes and metal stearates to prevent their accumulation which contributes to frequent vacuum pump maintenance and premature failure.

Easy to maintain because the stainless steel gauze filters can be cleaned and reused, MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Traps are suitable for use with oil lubricated rotary vane, oil lubricated piston, and dry screw or claw pumps. Vacuum sintering, or powdered metal (PM) parts, is used to form ceramics, refractory metals, and steels. Vacuum sintered PM products include bulk forms, shapes, powdered parts, and metal injection molded components.
