Bourne, Mass., Aug. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Onset, a trusted manufacturer of field-proven data loggers, today announced the release of the new HOBOnet Multi-Depth Soil Moisture Sensor. A wireless sensor that works with HOBOnet (Onset's advanced wireless mesh network system for remote monitoring over large areas), the HOBOnet Multi-Depth Soil Moisture Sensor measures soil moisture and soil temperature at multiple depths with a single probe, for fast and easy installation.
Featuring GroPoint's TDT5 technology with patented antenna design, the durable HOBOnet Multi-Depth Soil Moisture Sensor measures soil moisture along the entire length of each probe segment for the largest volume of influence per measurement section, resulting in more accurate results. A high frequency of pulses per measurement ensures precise, consistent soil moisture data. And with the optional pilot rod and slide hammer tools, installation is nearly effortless, even in hard soil.
